Update with what's going in Tech world.

NetGear’s latest device, the RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router, is also known as the WNDR3700 for those who prefer to deal with model numbers. This networking device is tipped to break new ground in the industry with a range of advanced features, speed and range which we’ll take a closer look at right after the jump. Folks who want the ultimate in router performance would do well to sit up and take notice on what the RangeMax Dual Band is able to do, running on the Wireless-N protocol that offers superior range and speed capability compared to Wireless-G that we’ve all come to know and love over the years.

The RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router will feature a slew of special features including ReadyShare that offers high-speed access to a USB hard drive from virtually any device that is connected to the network, while broadband usage metering gives you clearer details on the breakdown of data – useful when there is a group of you living under one roof and constantly argue on who uses the most bandwidth. Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) support and video Quality of Service (QoS) makes the WNDR37000 all the more impressive, where it is powered by a 680MHz processor within, and is capable of offering 500Mbps WAN to LAN speeds and 350Mbps real-world maximum wireless throughput (theoretically, of course), making it more than suitable for those who are heavily involved in online gaming, high-definition video streaming and tend to perform secure, large data transfers all the time.

NetGear has not forgotten about going green with the RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router since it comes with a trio of adjustable power and range settings that makes it possible to reduce wireless transmit power by up to a whopping 75% compared to when the router is going all out, transmitting at full power. The auto-sensing gigabit Green switch is smart enough to adjusts power consumption automatically based on cable length and unused ports. Whenever Wi-Fi is turned off, similar ports will also be shut down thanks to the dedicated wireless on/off switch, further lowering power consumption by another 30%. Expect to pick this puppy up for $189.99 a pop
