Contrary to the economy the mobile market is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact it continues to grow at an exponential rate. According to the
Semi-Annual wireless survey by CTIA, 276 million consumers now use wireless devices, up from 262 million in 2008, and use a total of over 1 trillion minutes. Two years ago over a billion text messages were sent per day the number has now quadrupled to 4 billion messages per day. Over 740 billion texts have been sent in the first half of the year alone contributing $76 billion in total wireless revenue.
