Freecom 2TB USB 3.0 external hard drive

Its been sometime since the USB 3.0 technology got the seal of approval. And here's the world's first external drive powered by USB 3.0 technology. The Freecom external drive comes in capacities of up to 2TB and boast of speedier data transfer rate of 130 MB/s.



The Freecom Hard Drive XS 3.0 uses 3.5" hard disk drive and supports backward-compatibility with USB 2.0, meaning all existing computers can easily read and write into the Freecom USB 3.0 drive.

It comes in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB storage capacities, and will be out in November throughout Europe.

The 1TB drive is priced at $175.
