Update with what's going in Tech world.

FIFA 10 has been busy topping the gaming charts since it launched at the beginning of the month, becoming the second fastest selling game ever in the process.
Konami has shipped a whopping three million copies of Pro Evolution 2010 in anticipation of a big first day of sales for their flagship footy title.

With the kind of faith shown that most Premier League managers would duly appreciate, Konami is expecting a million-selling title launch from the game which hits all formats from today.

European Marketing, PR Director, Konami Digital Entertainment, Martin Schneider explained the optimistic outlook for PES 2010 saying, "Global sales for the PES series to date are over 55.5m, and we expect a very strong performance from what is easily the best PES in a long, long time."

It's no secret that Pro Evo has stumbled from its perch as the most wanted footy title, but Konami is confident that this latest game will appease both gaming and football fans. “We have worked closely with PES fans and football fans in general to create a game that ticks every box. We will be continuing this two-way conversation as we look to DLC for PES 2010, and further beyond.”

As Konami arrives late to the footy game party, FIFA 10 has been busy topping the gaming charts since it launched at the beginning of the month, becoming the second fastest selling game ever in the process.

So whether PES 2010 will strike Capello-like fear into EA hearts, or by Monday morning the pre-owned section of various game stores are overloaded with copies of the latest Pro Evo, Konami will be hoping for the former rather than the latter.
