Camangi has started receiving pre-orders for their Tablet PC, Camangi WebStation, which is built on the Google Android v1.5 platform. This pre-order is only for Taiwan, the U.S., and Japan.


Camangi WebStation is equipped with a 7-inch glass touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, based on a 624MHz Marvell PXA303 CPU, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm stereo jack for headphones, 1W speaker power, and GPS receiver.

It has no internal memory, but it replaces the microSDHC memory card 8GB. Camangi WebStation has USB connectivity to access the mobile phone, which optionally can connect an external 3G module.

Battery of Camangi WebStation is a 4000 mAh and provides enough for 5 hours of battery life on the browsing Internet or watch the video (only in 3GP and MP4). Camangi WebStation tablet is capable to view images in JPG, GIF, PNG and BMP, listening to music in 3GP, MP3, MP4, OGG, MID and WAV, as well as reading e-books in EPUB and TXT format.

Shipping of Camangi WebStation is beginning before the end of the year, although the Camangi WebStation will be released limited stock. Camangi WebStation will be available soon in white, black and pink. Camangi WebStation has cost at $389 or $399 with an early-bird coupon for those who registered earlier in the year.
