Hewlett-Packard (HP) has introduced a new business desktop PCs series, HP Compaq 8000 Elite. It is reported that HP Compaq 8000 Elite desktop PCs have improved energy efficiency and enhanced security features and data protection. It supports encryption of hard drive that limits the read / write critical files, password protection, etc. In addition, special tools administration and management can reduce maintenance costs and the costs of routine maintenance.



HP Compaq 8000 Elite Desktop is offered in three form factors: Ultra-slim Desktop PC, Small Form Factor PC, and Convertible Minitower PC. The first type of HP Compaq 8000 Elite is depending on the configuration equipped with dual-core or quad-core Intel processor, a maximum of 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM and up to 250GB hard drive. HP Compaq 8000 Elite Desktop PC has brings a DVD drive and integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 GPU. It is optional to install a 64GB SSD and Wi-Fi Adapter.


The other form factors have brings up to 16GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 1TB hard drive, a DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, and a discrete graphics adapter. All HP Compaq 8000 Elite desktops are come with Windows 7, Vista, XP or FreeDOS.

The cost of HP Compaq 8000 Elite desktop computers series are starting at $849 for HP Compaq 8000 Elite Convertible Minitower PC, $769 for HP Compaq 8000 Elite Small Form Factor PC, and $799 for HP Compaq 8000 Elite Ultra-slim Desktop PC.
