Update with what's going in Tech world.

Delivering smartphone beauties could be just the tip of the iceberg as a leaked ROM suggests the Taiwanese mobile manufacturer could be planning to launch 20 more Android-powered handsets.

Names of a number of possible new devices appear to have been written inside a thread from the recently spotted Android 2.1 ROM. Some are names we've heard banded around before, while others are not so familiar.

Along with the familiar sounding Hero and the Dream (G1), the full list includes the following names: Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream, Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion, Sapphire and Supersonic.

What the big 'C' means we are not entirely sure, and whether we will ever get our UK hands on a handset called the HTC Huangshan we think is probably unlikely. But if even a handful of these rather colourful names bear any source of truth, it suggests that HTC means serious business when it comes to ramping up its Android presence.

Since bringing us the T-Mobile G1 back in 2008, HTC continues to be at the forefront of embracing Google's mobile OS and showing how far the platform can be taken. Rest assured we can expect to hear more on the likes of a HTC Espresso becoming reality, but for now we'll leave it to your own imagination on how a coffee-inspired handset might look.
