MSI has plans to release two new notebook computers, they are MSI MS-1243 and MSI MS-1241 laptops. Both notebooks seem like the MSI U210 / MSI U230. New MSI notebooks is basis of AMD Yukon platform, it is consisting of an Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor and a motherboard with integrated graphics controller. Their RAM and hard drive capacity will vary depending on the configuration of computers.
MSI will offer versions of laptops with 12.1-inch and 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. MSI MS-1243 and MSI MS-1241 notebooks will include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, multi-format card reader, 1.3MP webcam, and HDMI. As an option, it can be ordered to install a TV tuner and 3.5G module to connect to mobile networks.
Dimensions of MSI MS-1243 and MS-1241 notebooks are 295×205x32 mm and weight is about 1.5 kg (with included battery). They are running on Windows 7 OS.
It is reported that MSI MS-1243 and MS-1241 notebooks are certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Starting sales of new MSI MS-1243 and MSI MS-1241 are not known.
