NEC has announced two new professional projector, called NP2200 and NP1200, targeted for use in business and education.

The difference of NEC NP2200 and NEC NP1200 is only claimed brightness. The NEC NP2200 projector is 4200 ANSI-lumens, while the NEC NP1200 projector is 3700 lumens.


NEC NP2200 and NP1200 projectors are designed to project images at distances of 12 to 92 meters from the screen, supports resolutions up to 1600×1200 pixels (XGA) and contrast of 600:1. In addition, NEC NP2200 and NP1200 projectors are equipped with built-in 5W speakers.

Both NEC projectors are compatible with the AutoSense technology, facilitates connection to the signal source, and the ECO Mode, which reduces power consumption and increases the resource lamp to 3000 hours. NEC NP2200 and NEC NP1200 projectors are equipped with DVI-D connectors with support for HDCP, RCA, BNC, S-Video and RJ-45.

New NEC NP2200 and NEC NP1200 will be available in the US market this month, with priced at $2399 (NEC NP2200) and $1999 (NEC NP1200).
